Operation Christmas Child is under way

Students at Brooklake Christian School in Federal Way packed boxes filled with toys and goodies to benefit Operation Christmas Child, which reaches children around the world. Pictured above are kindergartners from the classes of Sally McDaniels and Phyllis Medina, as well as sixth-graders from Sharon Gentry’s class. “We’ve done it in our family for a long time,” said Gentry, who led Brooklake’s participation in this year’s effort. “It’s kids helping kids.
