Over the summer, three students from the Federal Way School District volunteered their time. Jordan Coffee, Kaaela Jones and Blaise Pascual were honored at the Historical Society of Federal Way offices on Aug. 21. They each received a certificate and a gift card to the Century Theatres as a thank you for their hard work. Jordan and Kaaela helped Maureen Hathaway and Lou Olmstead with transcribing oral histories. Blaise helped Barbara Barney with packing up for the society’s upcoming move to a new location. The society commends these students for their help and wishes them luck in the future. To learn more, call (253) 945-7842. - Courtesy of Barb Barney
