Han Woo-Ri Festival delayed until Spring
Han Woo-Ri, the annual Korean sports and culture festival, will tentatively take place in May 2009 instead of its usual September timeframe, said Patrick Doherty, Federal Way’s economic development director.
The festival’s organizers were unable to schedule the next Han Woo-Ri this fall due to lack of time for planning as well as conflicting events in the area, Doherty said. The festival, held at The Commons mall in years past, features traditional dancing, crafts, games, sports, music and food as well as family activities.
