With spring break approaching, where’s a parent to turn to keep kids involved in positive activities? The Federal Way Community Center’s Spring Break Camp is the top choice for a place that is safe and fun for kids ages five to 12 years old.

Spring Break Camp will be in session from April 7–11. Daily activities include swimming, rock climbing, crafts, gym games and songs. On Wednesday, the class will take a field trip to Bullwinkle’s Family Fun Center in Tukwila. All children will have a blast connecting with friends and hanging out with the center’s camp staff.

Registration is available for the week (6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily) at $165 or on a daily basis at the rate of $40 for each day, with the exception of Field Trip Wednesday, which costs $45.

Responsible teens ages 13 to 16 who want some experience working as a day camp leader can sign up for CIT CAMP, Counselor in Training. Teens will learn valuable leadership skills and hands-on experience in leading games and activities. Cost is $125 for the week.

For more information about camp, visit www.itallhappenshere.org or to register contact Gina Shaw, recreation coordinator, at (253) 835-6924 or Gina.Shaw@cityoffederalway.com.
