From staff reports:

Grace Church and South King Fire and Rescue have been collecting school supplies for four years to benefit Federal Way area families in need.

This year, Heritage Bank partnered with them to help get the word out to the community. On average, they are able to serve around 100 to 150 students with backpacks and school supplies between three to four schools in the Federal Way School District.

Any leftover supplies go directly to the school district to distribute to the schools that are in need. They also assist the school district in cleaning up two schools a year in preparation for the start of the school year.
