The weather was perfect for the Federal Way Lions 9th Annual Scholarship Car Show held Aug. 17 in the Sears parking lot at The Commons.

More than 80 collector cars were on display for the public to enjoy. Net proceeds from the car show go toward scholarships for senior students from each of the high schools in the Federal Way School District. Last year, the club awarded ten scholarships worth $900 each.

This year's Best of Show Award, which is voted on by the entrants, went to co-winners: a 1954 Ford Coupe and a 1923 Chevy/Ford T-Bucket.
