Scouting for Food: Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts will be in Federal Way neighborhoods Saturday morning, March 23, asking for donations to help area food banks. Residents are also invited to stop by Jet Chevrolet, 35700 Enchanted Pkwy. S., on March 23 to drop off food donations and enjoy some racing action. Cub Scouts from the Hylebos District take to the track for the Pinewood Derby starting at 11 a.m. at Jet. Contact or (253) 682-2205.

Reach Out Rollermania: Annual fundraiser for a local homeless shelter program runs 6 to 9 p.m. March 25 at Pattison's West Skating Center. Teams are welcome to join. Last year's event raised about $8,000 with more than 200 participants. Reach Out Federal Way provides shelter, meals and support for dozens of South King County homeless men and women.
