The Federal Way Community Gardens Foundation recently recognized Jennifer Dovey as the Volunteer of the Year for 2012.

Dovey served as the garden manager for the Federal Way Senior Center garden. She coordinated and managed the volunteers who planted, harvested and distributed 5,000 pounds of produce to residents at the SHAG apartments, clients of Meals on Wheels, and community dinners at local churches.
