Federal Way Rotary awards $18K in scholarships

On June 5, the Federal Way Rotary awarded 18 scholarships worth at least $1,000 each to graduating seniors in the Federal Way School District. The scholarships were presented during a luncheon at Twin Lakes Golf and Country Club.

Thomas Jefferson High School recipients: Irais Cartier Hernandez, Brenda Mbaabu, Faith Mbaabu, Cynthia Wainaina, Abigail Njuguna, Stefan O’Neil, Isaiah Parker and Taylor Soderberg.

Todd Beamer High School recipients: Lamyaa Ennassime and Angela Hargett.

Federal Way High School recipients: Briana Bennett, Murphy Eakes, Christina Leufroy and Shamika Robinson.

Decatur High School recipients: Seri Hyun, Michael Jeng, Miriam Kasaika and Andre Lavrentyev.
