Korean School of Federal Way pays homage to culture
February 26, 2013 · 9:18 AM
Korean School of Federal Way (KSFW) celebrated Lunar New Year “Seollar” on Feb. 9.
Students and staff dressed in “Hanbok” to celebrate the year of the wise snake. They learned to play traditional Korean games “Yoot-Nori” and paid homage to the elders by bowing in traditional “Korean-style” Seh-Beh. The children especially enjoyed receiving money envelopes (Seh-Beht-Don) in return.
