Meet the first baby born in 2013 at St. Francis Hospital

The first baby born in the new year at St. Francis Hospital arrived at 4:41 a.m. Jan. 1.

Proud mother Katie Bontempo of Federal Way delivered a baby girl named Lenea Christine, who weighed 5 pounds and 10 ounces.

According to the hospital, more than 1,100 babies are born every year at St. Francis. A total of 1,113 were born at the hospital between July 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012.
