Cub Scout Pack 307 honors veterans Nov. 13

From 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, Cub Scout Pack 307 is having a meeting to honor our veterans in the gym at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 515 S. 312th St., Federal Way.

Parents and relatives of the Cub Scouts who are veterans (as well as Pack VIPs) are invited to wear their uniform and will be honored for their service to the country. There will be special stations set up to teach the boys and others present about uniforms that are currently being worn in the field as well as various gear that is used.

The boys will have their own uniforms inspected, and learn proper technique for conducting a flag ceremony. There will also be an awards ceremony to recognize the boys’ achievements from the past month.
