Federal Way Kiwanis announce 2012 scholarship winners

At its June 20 meeting, the Kiwanis Club of Federal Way recognized its 2012 Key Club Scholarship and Community Scholarship winners.

The Key Club Scholarships are awarded to successful graduating senior applicants who are members of one of the Key Clubs sponsored by the Kiwanis Club at Federal Way, Decatur and Todd Beamer high schools. The Community Scholarships are awarded to graduating seniors who live within the Federal Way School District but attend another high school.

Community scholarship winners ($1,500 each)

• Jacqueline Guzman, Truman High School

• Julia Yun, Thomas Jefferson High School

Key Club winners ($2,000 each)

• Jonathan Truong, Federal Way High School

• Christina Kim, Decatur High School

• Hana Kim, Decatur High School
