Federal Way girl joins Miss Jr. Pre-Teen Seattle pageant

Jalen Vertido of Federal Way was recently selected to participate in the 2012 Miss Jr. Pre-Teen Seattle pageant competition that will take place June 17.

Jalen applied and took part in an interview conducted by this year’s Seattle Pageant coordinator. Jalen will be competing in the pre-teen division which will include casual wear and formal wear. She will also display her personality and interviewing skills.

If Jalen were to win the title, she would represent Seattle and the surrounding communities at the national competition in Orlando.
