Life After High School: Meet representatives from state's colleges and academies

Federal Way Public Schools will hold the annual "Life After High School" event from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 19 at Decatur High School, 2800 SW 320th St.
The event is similar to a career fair, with more than 90 representatives from four-year colleges, universities, military academies and trade schools set to attend.
According to the school district, all of Washington's four-year private and public universities, along with every Puget Sound area technical and community colleges, will be present. All branches of the military will be on hand as well.
Outside of the attendees, a number of informational seminars will be presented on topics ranging from paying for college to testing on the SAT or the ACT and the benefits of secondary education.
