Dumas Bay tree sculpture earns name 'Endurance'

Peg Altman and Brenda Sanchez won the naming contest for this sculpture, which was carved from a blue cedar atlas tree by Milton resident Bob King.

King chose the winning name "Endurance" for the sculpture at Dumas Bay Centre, 3200 SW Dash Point Road in Federal Way. The sculpture depicts an eagle, salmon and heron. The contest winners were announced at a reception July 25.
