Community Food and Toy Drive is under way

The annual Community Food and Toy Drive is under way. Citizens may drop off donations of canned food, dry goods, new unwrapped toys or money at any South King Fire and Rescue station until Dec. 19. Checks can be made out to "Community Food and Toy Drive." Delivery of food and toys is set for Dec. 22. Last year's effort provided presents for 451 children and a week's supply of food for 127 families. For information on how businesses, individuals or organizations can get involved with this year’s drive, contact Donna Conner at (253) 946-7246.
