From staff reports:

Two weeks into summer, maintenance and construction crews found the right algorithm to fix the heating and cooling systems at Valhalla and Panther Lake elementary schools. Last year, the new higher efficiency heating and cooling systems could not regulate and properly heat or cool the buildings. But the problem has now been fixed, and staff and students can enjoy a comfortable temperature year round. The district is still working on finalizing some acoustic fixes, the other issue troubling the schools, but Director of Facilities Rod Leland said permanent fixes should be coming shortly.
