Wild Waves Theme Park to fill 900 summer positions during job fair Saturday

Saturday, March 15 marks the park’s annual job fair in which thousands of locals apply to be a part of Wild Waves Theme Park, working in such positions as ride operators, lifeguards, food vendors, retail clerks and more.

New positions to be filled this year are costumed entertainment team members. People love working at Wild Waves Theme Park so much that an average of 40 percent of the park’s workforce returns year to year.

The job fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15 at Todd Beamer High School, 35999 16th Ave. S., Federal Way. Interviews will be available from 10 a.m. to noon.

Attendees will enter through the main entrance. Parking is available in the main student parking lot.

Wild Waves Theme Park is Washington’s largest amusement park, with 70-acres of family fun.

A bevy of “wet” and “dry” rides and attractions are featured, including the state’s largest wooden roller coaster, TimberHawk, a looped roller coaster, The Wild Thing, the relaxing Konga Lazy River and a 24,000-square-foot wave pool.
