BUSINESS BUZZ: Austin Chase gets new owners; Sportsman’s Warehouse moves in

As of Tuesday, Federal Way residents Brian Todd and Russhele Arreola are the new owners of Austin Chase Coffee, located at 32901 1st Ave. S. in the Quad Shopping Center.

The owners said the shop remains open for business. They plan to change the name to B&R Espresso Bar, but will still provide the same trademark Austin Chase roasted coffee.

Seattle-based Austin Chase was founded in 1989, and each store is locally owned by a “respected, quality focused retail licensee,” according to austinchasecoffee.com.

Sportsman’s Warehouse

Sportsman’s Warehouse opened for business Monday in at The Crossings shopping center, located at South 348th Street and Pacific Highway South in Federal Way.

The former tenant, Wholesale Sports Outdoor Outfitters, closed two weeks ago and was restocked as a Sportsman’s Warehouse. The address is 1405 S. 348th St.

The company acquired 10 Wholesale locations in Oregon, Washington and Montana, according to an online news release. Washington locations include Kennewick, Silverdale and Vancouver.
