DeVore becomes chairwoman of Federal Way Chamber's board of directors

Lori DeVore is the new chairwoman for the Federal Way Chamber of Commerce board of directors, replacing Tom Murphy, who is retiring as superintendent of schools. The announcement was made during the Chamber’s monthly membership luncheon July 7 at Twin Lakes Country Club.

“It’s been fun watching him and observing,” DeVore said of her predecessor. She has served on the board for six years and is committed to helping the Chamber build a stronger local economy. “We’re in transition again and have a very bright future ahead.” At the luncheon, Mirror marketing rep Cindy Ducich was named the Chamber’s Ambassador of the Year.
