City Center Access Project
November 11, 2008 · Updated 12:05 PM
The public is invited to attend an open house on the City Center Access Project. The event will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 12 in the Macy’s courtyard at The Commons mall, 1928 S. Commons Way.
The city, Washington State Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration and a team of consultants will be available to answer questions and take comments about the project, which proposes to add another access point to the city, thus relieving traffic at the Interstate 5 and South 320th Street exit.
Three solutions are being considered: An entry at South 312th Street, an entry at South 324th Street or no new access points.
Design drawings, animated presentations and informational display boards will be available to the public. Spanish and Korean translators will be available.
