Franciscan Health System has appointed David Lawson as the new vice president of human resources and Rose Shandrow as spiritual
care director at Franciscan Health System, a three-hospital healthcare provider in Federal Way and other South Sound communities.
Lawson started his new role June 3. He previously held the same title for
PacMed Clinics in Seattle, where he worked with six clinics in the Puget Sound area. Franciscan officials said he has strong negotiation skills and experience with group pension and insurance plans.
Before arriving at Franciscan, Shandrow was director of
the Scripture and Leadership Training program at the School of
Theology and Ministry at Seattle University. She established
and monitored regional training sites involving students, faculty and church communities throughout western Washington. She also has filled surveyor and management roles at the Health Care Finance Administration.
Franciscan Health System (www.fhshealth.org) hospitals are St. Francis in Federal Way, St. Clare in Lakewood and St. Joseph in Tacoma.
