Walmart and Walmart Foundation are looking for communities worthy of receiving $1.5 million in grants to help fight hunger. The company is encouraging people to visit Walmart's Facebook page by Dec. 31 and help decide which cities or general geographic areas should get the money.

Participants may choose from a list of 100 communities where hunger rates are the highest. The community with the most support will receive $1 million in grants and the next five communities with the most support will receive $100,000 each. The Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue area made the list.
