The city hopes to pull the Federal Way Community Center out of its financial woes. Despite dissenting votes from Mayor Jack Dovey and Deputy Mayor Eric Faison, the Federal Way City Council voted 5-2 on June 17 to spend $23,500 on a marketing plan for the year-old facility.
